Who we are

Welcome to 2 in 2 out, a 501(c) (3) Nonprofit, where we believe in the power of community and brotherhood/sisterhood. Our journey began with a simple idea: to support and stand with each other, creating a space where everyone feels valued and empowered.

How We Started

The story of 2 in 2 out began in 2023 when our founders, Robert Kirkendall, with over 30 years of service in the Fire/EMS field, and Dione Kirkendall, with over 20 years in 911 service, recognized the need for a group that fosters genuine connections and mutual support. Inspired by the camaraderie and solidarity in their own family and fire family, they set out to create a space where individuals can come together, share their experiences, and lift each other up.

Our Mission and Vision

At 2 in 2 out, our mission is to build a strong, supportive community where everyone can find encouragement and assistance. We envision a world where no one has to face their challenges alone, and everyone has the opportunity to thrive through the support of their peers.
